Statement of faith

  1. Scriptures. The Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired and is the record of God’s revelation of Himself to man. It is authoritative, perfect, reliable and inerrant Word of God. (II Pet. 1:21, II Sam. 23:2, II Tim. 3:16,17; Matt. 5:18; John 10:3; Rom. 16:26; Isa. 34:16; Deut.29:29).

  2. God. “There is one and only one living and true God. He is an intelligent, spiritual, and personal Being. The Creator, Redeemer, Preserver, and Ruler of the universe. The Eternal God reveals Himself to use as Father, Son and Holy Spirit, with distinct personal attributed, but without division of nature, essence, or Being.” (Isa. 40:23; Gen. 1:11; Ps.90:2; Isa. 57:15; Ps. 111:9; Isa. 43:1; Heb. 1:3; Matt. 19:26: Malachi 3:6; Matt. 29:19,20).

    A. God the Father. God the Father is He, who in His Love, prepared eternal salvation to all mankind through His son Jesus. He is a loving, eternal Spirit “…who dwells in the light which no man can approach…” (John 3:16; Tim. 1:17; John 1:18, 4:24; Col. 1:16; I Tim. 5:16; John 5:25; Isa. 3:10; Ps. 36:9).

    B. God the Son. God the Son is the Lord Jesus Christ who was born of the Virgin Mary, fully God and fully man, who suffered and died on the cross for the sins of men, was buried, rose bodily from the dead, appeared to men, ascended into Heaven, who now sits on the right hand side of the Father and intercedes for men, and who is coming again with great power and glory. (John 1:1; Phil. 2:6; John 14:9; Isa. 7:12; Luke 1:30; Heb. 4:5; I Con 15:3-4; I Tim. 2:5, 3:16; Rom. 3:24-25; Mark 16:19; Acts 1:9,11, 10:42; Rev. 22:12; I Thes. 2:16; John 1:10).

    C. God the Holy Spirit. God the Holy Sprit is the Comforter, who inspired the prophets and apostles of old; who indwells, empowers, and distributes spiritual gifts to be exercised by the believers for spiritual edification of the church; and who convicts the word concerning sin, righteousness, and judgement. (John 14:26; II Pet. 1:21; Acts 1:8; I Cor. 12:4-11; Eph. 4:11-12; John 16:8).

  3. Salvation. Salvation involves the redemption of the whole man, and is offered freely to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, who by His own blood obtained eternal redemption for the believer. In its broadest sense salvation includes Regeneration, Sanctification, and Glorification. (Matt. 1:21; Luke 1:68,69; John 1:11-14; II Cor. 5:17; Rom. 3:23-25; I Cor. 1:30-31; Rom. 8:29-30; Gal. 6:15; Eph. 1:17, 4:11-16; Heb. 2:10; I Pet. 5:10).

  4. The Church. The church is a local assembly of born-again believes in whom Christ dwells the holy Sprit and who are associated, for the Glory of God, by covenant in the faith and fellowship of the gospel, observing the two ordinances of Christ and committed to carry out the Great Commission. It is an autonomous body with its own administration and which operates in accordance with the Word of God. (Eph. 1:22-23; Matt. 16:15-19; I Cor. 3:11; Eph. 2:20-22; Col. 1:18; Acts 2:41-42, 13:1-2; I Cor. 1:2; Matt. 26:26-28, 28:19-20; I Cor. 11:24-25).

  5. The Lord’s Supper. The Lord’s Supper, consisting of the elements, bread and the fruit of the vine, is the symbol of expressing our sharing the divine nature of our Lord Jesus Christ; a memorial of His suffering and death; and a prophecy of His coming; and is enjoyed by all believers until He comes. (II Pet. 1:4; I Cor. 11:23-36; Luke 22:19-20).

  6. Man. Man was created by s special act of God in His won image and is the crowing work of His creation. Man was endowed by his creator with freedom of choice. By his free choice man fell into the temptation of Satan and transgressed the command of God, and brought sin and death to all posterity. Man can attain God’s purpose and glory only through salvation by grace through the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. (Gen. 1:26-30, 2:7, e_______:1-24; Ps. 8:4-6; Heb. 2:6-8; Rom. 3:23, 24; Eph. 2:1-22; Col. 1:21-22).

  7. Last Things. God, in His own time and in His own way, will bring the world to its appropriate end. According to His promise, Jesus Christ will return personally and visibly in glory to the earth; the dead will be raised; and. Christ will judge all men in righteousness. The unrighteous will be consigned to hell, the place of everlasting punishment. The-righteous in their resurrected and glorified bodies will receive their reward and will dwell forever in Heaven with the Lord.
